SoundFast for Fedora

Follow the steps below to install SoundFast on Fedora and set up the required system packages.

Enable RPM Fusion

sudo dnf install -y https://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm

RPM Fusion provides the ffmpeg codec that SoundFast needs. Dependencies such as ffmpeg, alsa-lib, gtk3, and gstreamer1 plugins are resolved automatically by DNF when you install the package in the next step.

Install SoundFast

sudo dnf install ./soundfast-3.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm

Launch SoundFast

Open your application menu, search for SoundFast, and click the icon to launch the app.

Compatibility

SoundFast has been tested on Fedora 42, 43, and 44 and is expected to function correctly on recent Fedora releases.

While SoundFast may run on other RPM-based distributions or older versions, functionality cannot be guaranteed and these environments are not officially supported.
